The point is lost; organizations don’t have a vote. Many within those organizations are part of the 2/3 of the region (and rising) voting No, not Now. The Dalai Lama and the Pope could endorse yes, and it would not make a difference.
All their members do; all the people who come in contact with them do; their reasoning is easily available and may persuade others to vote YES. They are mostly leaders with vision and foresight, and reputations on the line, and this also is persuasive. And finally, the 120 votes won’t make a hoot’s worth of difference even if they could vote, but their influence is immense.
