Referendum: How to Help – 2

Here’s how you can help.

1. Make sure you’re registered to vote. You need to be registered to receive your mail-in ballot.

2. Read the plan and get the facts so you can help spread the word. The more people know about what’s in the Mayors’ transit plan, the more likely they are to vote Yes.

3. Voting runs from March 16-May 29th. People who commit to voting in advance are more likely to follow through, so pledge to vote Yes here.

4. Like the Mayors’ Council Facebook page and get access to infographics and the latest campaign information.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be holding events, talking to voters, and making the case for why a Yes vote is in everyone’s best interest, whether you take transit, drive, bike, or walk to get around. I’ll be asking you to get involved.

We are looking for volunteers to help get the vote out and spread information. More at: http://www.bccc.bc.ca/yes#volunteer

  1. Well said Mark. It’s sad when friends take offence to an opinion they can’t stand.

Tolerance is a trait we should all aspire to.
