Request for Volunteers: Moving in a Livable Region

Move People! Transit Referendum Education Campaign Needs Volunteers

Moving in a Livable Region (MLR) seeks capable volunteers and superhero interns to educate Metro Vancouver about its upcoming transit referendum. MLR is a nonpartisan consortium of businesses, organizations, local governments, and transportation leaders working to create a long-term sustainable plan for funding transportation in the Metro Vancouver region. Just the facts, ma’am: MLR’s education campaign touts the importance of transportation and provides the best and most current information about the referendum so voters can make an informed decision at the ballot box.

MLR needs your help. Multiple opportunities are available in research, design, web development, event planning, editing and writing, and social media prowess. If you have a superpower, we want to hear from you. All candidates (as well as all Metro Vancouverites) should have an interest in transportation-related issues.
