Request for Speakers: Heritage B.C.


Deadline for submissions is June 1, 2015


We are looking for engaging presenters and speakers with current and thought-provoking topics to speak at Heritage BC’s annual conference.

The conference takes place in Rossland, October 1-3, 2015 and has the theme of “The Main Thing”, which addresses how to create dynamic downtowns by refreshing and renewing revitalization strategies and how to leverage your heritage assets to discover tourism and sustainability opportunities.

We are looking for workshop presenters and student presenters. We are accepting outlines for traditional presentations (15-20 mins), conference sessions or roundtables (90 minutes), and workshop facilitators (90 mins). We are also accepting outlines for student papers for traditional presentations (15-20 mins).

Please include with your submission:

• Title of presentation/session proposed, format, and 300 words (approx.) summary

• How your proposal aligns with the conference theme(s)

• Author/authors’ name, contact information, and brief CV, including prior speaking engagements if applicable.
