Wow. 40000m2 of office space with only 86 parking stalls and 322 bike spaces. 1 stall per 465m2/5000sf. This is breathtakingly non autocentric.
Wow – I thought that was a morphed rendering of the Georgia and Dunsmuir viaducts until I read the story.
Hmmm… if they can live with it – why can’t we?
I have to say that I love the sheer amount of things going on in this photograph. I don’t see why something this interesting couldn’t be implemented with a full viaduct retention.
As I’ve always said, the “super road” seems like it will be more of a barrier than the actual viaducts are now. The pointless fenced parking lots also aren’t doing the structures any favours.
