Another ride down Point Grey Road with Ken Ohrn:
.
Today, as usual, I was far from the only person on the new Point Grey Road. It sure seems that families and day-camp-like groups of kids are showing up all over the place. Aside from these two groups, I met three more groups totaling about 30 kids and around six adults heading downhill towards various parks.
At Hastings Mill Park, these bikes waited patiently on the grass while their riders had big fun at the playground.

Farther on, in Jericho Beach Park, a group of kids enjoyed their day even more by taking one of the trails. I’m guessing here, but probably the group took the new PGR to get to the park. And why not, it’s an easy and safe ride, with a wonderful destination at the western end.

Ken,
Thanks for all your fabulous photos of PGR, especially the ones you took during the Seaside Greenway Party on July 5, 2014. Someone forwarded them to me. Any chance of them being posted here on Price Tags for more people to enjoy?
Hi Susan: Mr. Price has final say on that.
The bikers are from Pedalheads bike camp, which is located adjacent to Jericho park. But as a former employee, I can tell you the new PGR must make an instructor’s life a heck of a lot easier!
