.
Finally, the Seaside Greenway that connects downtown’s Seawall and False Creek with Jericho Beach is ready to be biked, walked or rolled – and may the best costume win!
.
There will be music, food, games, art, kids crafts, yoga and more along the Point Grey Road route and adjacent parks between MacDonald Street and Jericho Beach. Bring your decorated bikes, kids and picnic baskets!
.
The VPSN and HUB: Your Cycling Connection are putting on this party for all ages and all abilities with neighbours and community groups, including the AMS Bike Co-op. Community rides will be taking place from downtown and UBC with meet up points along the way.

This is a great achievement that deserves to be celebrated. I’ll be there — and I hope to see you too.
We got an electioneering pamphlet from the Cedar Party: it commits to removing the Point Grey Road bike lane but says others will be “improved or left alone through thoughtful review”. Quite why PGR will not get the same treatment is not made clear. So much for “openness, transparency and integrity”.
Looks like this date is set to be a big one for bike parties: http://www.vincentparker.ca/bikerave/

Please all come to see and experience the traffic-calmed, mixed-use, Shared Local Road that is the New Point Grey Road!
