What replaced these houses on Burrard Street?

Burrard houses

.

A small pleasure arrives when “Changing Vancouver” arrives with a ping in my mailbox.  (I subscribe to each post; if you don’t, you can go the website.)

The Then images, mostly from the Vancouver Archives, B.C. Archives and Vancouver Public Library collections, are scrupulously matched up with contemporary Now shots, accompanied by an astonishingly comprehensive genealogy, tracing developer, architect, owner, shopkeeper or resident throughout Vancouver’s history.

Great work by John Atkin and Andy Coupland.

And to find out what replaced the houses above, you can go here.
