Looks pretty good too.
This short doc from TV5 is perfect for your out-of-town French-speaking cousin into urban design: the usual high points (literally: Grouse Mountain) and talk about food, but also lane cottages, Woodward’s, Chinatown and density. Some of the usual voices are here (Geller, Henriquez, Yu) – and they speak English.
Worth seeing, even by anglophones.

Thanks for this! This is a Canadian production and they also have an English version. It airs on Discovery HD and is called Waterfront Cities of the World. They visit lots of other interesting cities as well.
Good find!
Strange to see so much rain in a video about Vancouver 🙂
basically, everything in the entire piece touches in one way or another on the “55% of income on lodging (double the canadian average)”. depressing
