Gil Penalosa is the individual behind 8 80 Cities and  World Urban Parks. He is a remarkable person who has championed active transportation internationally. He also hosts a wonderful bi-weekly webinar, and in his inaugural chat for 2022 is joined by renowned Danish Architect, author and thinker, Jan Gehl.

If you have not heard these two individuals in conversation, here is your chance. Jan was bang on in predicting the importance of the use of public space during the pandemic, and also the aftermath of the work needed to animate the resulting empty storefronts.
