Its a film to protect the exterior cladding during construction?
The protective film seems to be the lighter coloured stuff (It has writing on it), that’s being slowly peeled off the reveal the grey. Whether that’s the final finish I don’t know.
I ride a bus across the Granville Bridge most days on my way to work and this has been an interesting one to watch grow.

The copper is in the ceiling of the balcony alcoves behind the silver/gray aluminum paneling. Most hasn’t been “unwrapped” yet in case it gets scratched or damaged.
