It’s as strong an urban streetwall as you’ll find in Vancouver: more an east-coast solid flank of glass and concrete than the Vancouverism-style podium-and-tower found elsewhere.

It’s the west side of the 1200-block Howe Street in Downtown South, quickly emerging as a distinct sub-neighbourhood needing a separate name.
Here’s what it looked like in 2007, once home to a couple of entertainment institutions from our past – the Odyssey club and La Bodega restaurant.  Any memories, people?
