The Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada is recruiting to fill a full time, three-year contract position of Manager, Co-operative Housing Development. The position will be based in Toronto, with a target starting date in mid-March/April 2018.
Reporting to the Director, Sector Development, the Manager, Co-operative Housing Development is responsible for creating a co-op housing development capacity within CHF Canada. They will explore options and opportunities for the creation of new co-op housing across the country including co op expansions, redevelopment and new options for the growth of the co-op housing sector and support the realization of these opportunities. They will work to develop and support a network of development parties, including community land trusts, for the purposes of information sharing and promoting sector growth.
