#SFUdatacafe – Oct 3

In the footsteps of SFU’s successful, long-running Philosopher’s Café series, the City Program presents the Data Café.
The #SFUdatacafe will be moderated by Andy Yan, director of the SFU City Program. To prime the conversation, we’ll start with a few data professionals from the city and region. From there, we welcome attendees to share their data work about the City of Vancouver and region, including their techniques and lessons learned. While we appreciate tales of triumph, we encourage stories of ongoing data and visualization challenges, allowing the audience to pitch technical advice or offer words of encouragement.
If you wish to present, please keep your presentation under seven minutes in length. We’ll provide a laptop with Powerpoint and an internet connection.
