Work continues, and is steadily transforming Vancouver’s Point Grey Road from a roaring, dangerous arterial into a lovely place for people on foot and on bikes.
Here, the first landscape plantings are in the ground at the eastern end — and actively blossoming. In the coming years, this Greenway will be a multi-faceted attraction for everyone in Vancouver. Walk, bike, visit parks, be active, be outdoors, admire the cherry blossoms, be by the sea.

Lovely! After living in Vancouver for 4 decades (a number of them in Kits), I might actually want to walk or bike this once horrible street for a change.
Great to hear. That is exactly the reason Greenways are being built.
Walked there the other day again. Looks very lovely.
All this local whining. They are the main beneficiaries of an enhanced and quieter multi-purpose roadway, at public expense. Every home owner on a busy road wished they were this lucky.
Happy Easter.
One wonders what all the fuss was about.
