There might not be any more perfect encapsulation of the Vancouver condition for many: eking out a place for one’s own, yearning for a start, a place, the manifestation of what should by rights be a simple dream, all while huddling up next to development, and hoping that no-one tries to push you aside.
Here’s hoping that nobody starts pushing.
