Vancouver Dragon Boat Festival racers will soon be able to store boats and equipment in new boathouses located on False Creek, near Creekside Community Centre. The previous storage facility was destroyed in a fire.
Called the Southeast False Creek Paddling Centre, the boathouses and docks were approved by City Council in June, 2014, and paid for via a Concorde Pacific CAC. Detail from the CoV open house is HERE.
