2015 Laneway House Tour
.
The Laneway House Tour is this weekend!
Tour inside lane homes with heritage-inspired details that coordinate with the style of the main house, such as one with a charming storybook style entry door. Another home on tour was designed to accommodate a mature magnolia tree. You can also see the infill built in 1990 that made possible the protection and restoration of the Modernist Barber Residence. Designed by Architect Robert Lemon, the design draws on visual elements of the main house and features clever landscaping to offer privacy to both residences.
If you have never taken one of our house tours before, be sure to check out this First-Timer’s Guide. Also, while the forecast looks good now, please plan for possible inclement weather as there may be lines at the homes and some may not offer coverage.
