At this special lecture Professor Flannery will discuss global climate issues with local thought leaders and will tackle the thorny topic of how to reconcile global environmental concerns with economic growth and resource development.

Flim Flam Flannery-wasted $10 billion on desalination plants now mothballed, ongoing expenses of $1 billion/year all billed to the Australian taxpayer. Not to mention the economically, environmentally, politically disastrous wind power program set to skewer taxpayers to the tune of $46 billion in the next fifteen years, for zero benefit.
