Mitchell Reardon: Comparing Vancouver and Stockholm

Mitchell Reardon recently moved back from Stockholm, where, during his six years living there, he became involved with Färgfabriken (literally, the paint factory, which the building formerly was) – a community centre, café, art gallery and studio, concert and event venue, place to get married and importantly, host and driver of a series of cooperative exhibitions/forums/workshops/discussions surrounding urban development in Stockholm.

He was their invited speaker at the Nordbygg Ecoforum in Stockholm, where he discussed strengths, parallels and the importance of engagement and storytelling in Stockholm and Vancouver.

The talk is available here (Dag 1, lower left in second row).  It’s in English, after his introduction, starting at 1.50.
