Classic, understated white brick on a newer building in Kits. Works well against the black window frames. A nice break from concrete and glass or standard mono-colour brown brick.

A nice break too from boring highrises. We need more density, the same per acre, by building buildings closer together or attached, like Europe, rather than more high rises. it makes for more interesting streetscapes.

Yeah, the blonde brick thing is nice. Classic yet not dark. Important here in the winter.
There’s some sort of appliqué below the windows that’s a bit hokey but ignorable.
Yes, a good break from the tedoius (and disposable looking) cheap concrete, steel and glass look. Arthur Erickson and other proponents of vast areas of unpainted concrete have much to apologise for in a damp, Northern climate like ours.
