To lock the lid you need a u-lock that fits the lid’s slot at the back (+ a second lock to lock bike to rack unless you’re happy with just the lid locked).
Unfortunately the lids don’t fit any of my bikes. Handlebars need be fairly narrow and baskets or child seat don’t fit. Otherwise it’s a nice (although expensive) solution for secure bike parking until TransLink builds a secure bike parking facility at the Quay.
