I am told I am of the “Critical Countercultures” segment which is mostly male, non-religious, employed and had above-average education. Features include: clear-eyed rationality, rejection of status and authority, don’t mind leading, but not attracted to feats of individual endurance (ex. marathons, 60-hour work weeks). “Just more of the unexamined herd behaviour they spend their lives critiquing and avoiding”.
Seems about right.
I’m part of the Critical Countercultures segment also. This is mostly accurate, but I think I actually do pursue authentic relationships and experiences and see things emotionally and socially (Engaged Idealists), rather than the rationality of this segment.
Also, I enjoy personal challenges (e.g. marathons) but I do reject hyperproductivity in the form of long work weeks.
hmmm. Me too. Curious if I do it again as bizarro world me what would come out…
Also part of the Critical Counterculture. I guess we know what Millennial segment Price Tags attracts.
Here is the graphics slide they provide at the end:

According to the pie chart, Critical Counterculture represents only 4% of Millennials. What are the other segments? I can’t seem to find any links to their descriptions.
I came up as part of the Critical Counterculture segment as well. Maybe it only has one response. I don’t agree with the rejection of personal challenges, as I enjoy timed century rides, and riding up the alps.

Hmm… I’m also a Critical Counterculture member who enjoys personal challenges……
We need more diversity!! 🙂
Hmm… I am apparently “Engaged Idealist”.

Everyone: to see the 6 types, copy the above link, and change the last number of the URL to 1 to 6. Eg to see Critical Counterculture, change the 3 to a 6.
Me too. Still in the same quadrant as the Critical Counterculturists.
You wouldn’t qualify for Critical countercultures: you run marathons, you’re too creative, and you aren’t skeptical of everything unlike those other folks.
I am feeling highly skeptical about your post…
This is like those old “Are you a nerd?” posters.
I also came up with critical countercultures, which seemed like an apt discription (that said: how different is this quiz from a standard Myers Briggs? Is critical counterculture just another way of saying INTP?).
I was surprised that this was the smallest segment, since most articles about what Millenials are doing/what Millenials value seem to describe what I’m doing and value.
I’m not a millennial. I took the quiz just to see where it placed me and wasn’t the least bit surprised by the result: Lone Wolf
