For instance:

Brisbane, Australia
Section of Brisbane’s iconic 36-km river loop with jacaranda in full bloom.
.
Morlans tunnel
A 1-km-long old railway tunnel turned into a very nice urban cycling lane.
.
And Ta Da!
Taken from window of St Regis Hotel in May 2013
Commissioned, no doubt, by owner of the St. Regis – Rob Macdonald – to illustrate, hey, no bikes using the bike lane!

Happy to see a positive article about Mr. Macdonald’s premises and bike lanes!
I wonder if pedestrians are allowed in the Morlans tunnel?
The Brisbane path has a pedestrian path – it looks narrow, but that could be the distance from which the shot was taken.
I suppose that the Brisbane path would be a model for a path along the beach from Kits to Jericho if that ever sees the light of day again.
My favourite is the infrastructure in Lyon, the first city to have implemented bike share. I even got to try it out a few weeks ago! https://gitanoafricano.files.wordpress.com/2014/10/europe2014282.jpg?w=225&h=300
Besides Lyon, Melbourne’s Yarra River has one of the best bike networks I have ever used.
Re: the St. Regis photo – there’s also no cars using the parallel car lane, nor any pedestrians using the pedestrian lane. I guess we better just build condos there then!
