“Along the No. 20” – East Vancouver in the ’30s and ’40s

A great read if you’re interested in the formation of Vancouver in the 1930’s and 40’s. Should be a must read for the planning staff at city hall.

It’s ‘about’ the streetcar that ran from Hastings Park (the PNE) to the B.C. Electric tram barn,  still looking great at Hastings and Carral, and the neighborhoods along its way. This was out in soft cover years ago; Jim Green gave me a copy.
