Humans want space, and a backyard.
Not everyone wants to live in a highrise or even midrise.
Sprawl, or lets call is natural residential expansion into more leafy and green suburbs is what happens if a city grows from 100,000 to 10,000,000 people – 100 fold – in a mega city like LA (or Tokyo or London or Paris or Mexico City or Singapore or Bejing or Rio or …)
