Why We Are Here

Vancouver, that is – why is there a city here?

Because:

Prospect

 Prospect Point on January 4, 2014.

No, not because it is so staggeringly beautiful.

Because this is one of the only natural, protected, deep-water, ice-free harbours close to Asia with rail and road connections to half a continent.  It’s what keeps us busy and rich.

  1. And ports need railroads, pipelines, bridges, tunnels and ROADS.

    Perhaps that is why Christy Clarke and her Liberal government is pushing through roads & new bridges with no referendum.

    Ditto with pipelines, but people for some reason don’t like it.

    The ignorance of the populace is staggering !
