Vancouver Most Walkable in Canada …. Again

Thank you, VanCity Buzz, for reporting on the annual compilation of most walkable cities by Walk Score.

I know this is not a surprise, and that we take it for granted.  But still …

Vancouver is once again the Most Walkable City in Canada and ranks fourth among cities in North America and Australia for walkability. …

Not surprisingly, the Downtown peninsula, West End and Strathcona pushed the city up in the rankings.

The gap between us, with a score of 78, and all 2,978 cities in North America and Australia is enormous.  The average “Walk Score” is 36.
