Densinistas vs. NIMBYs in Seattle

I’m linking to this article in Crosscut because I love the title – Densinistas! – and because it gives a pretty good comparison of the issues in Seattle that are of current concern in Vancouver.  Like this example:

Councilmember Richard Conlin writes that fear of change is misattributed — in fact, what most people fear is loss. To address this, he hopes to reinvigorate public engagement by ensuring broad inclusion so that all views are taken into account, rather than only “the last ones standing.”
