Science Policy Congress: Transportation Infrastructure in Metro – Oct 1

Join this free session of the Science Policy Congress for a panel discussion on Transportation Infrastructure.

Tuesday, October 1 at 6 pm

Room 4400 Policy Room  of the Segal Building (500 Granville Street).

I know, I know, it sounds like a bloodless topic.  (What is it about that word ‘infrastructure’ that is so snore-inducing?)  But this one will be both highly relevant and, I suspect, full of entertainly diverse views.

The panel:

  • Claire Havens, Program Manager & Policy Analyst at Carbon Talks
  • Sarah Ross, Senior Manager of Strategy and Plan Development at TransLink
  • Gordon Price, Director of City Program at Simon Fraser University and former Councillor for the City of Vancouver
  • Patrick Condon, Chair of Urban Design & Professor of Landscape Architecture at the University of British Columbia

Moderated by Michael Alexander, Director of City Conversations at SFU Public Square
