Author and planner Peter Brown gives a talk in New Westminster Saturday, September 28 on ports and urban transportation. Brown, author of America’s Waterfront Revival: Port Authorities and Urban Redevelopment, will review the role of ports and discuss how waterfronts are changing from industrial areas to diversified uses, and how land ownership and other issues are affecting the transformation.
The event is part of RiverFest and World Rivers Day.
