City Conversation: Planning for Queer Communities – Feb 21 at 12:30

If you’re anywhere near SFU Harbour Centre at 12:30 pm today, join me and Metha Brown, a member of Vancouver’s LGBTQ Advisory Committee, in Room 2270 to talk about “Planning for Queer Communities” – is it the demise of the gaybourhood? – in this week’s City Conversation by SFU Public Square.
Or you can get a flavour of what I’ll be saying by checking out this morning’s Early Edition on CBC Radio.  The podcast is here of an interview I did on Davie Street with journalist Jodie Martinson.  Click on February 21, and go to the upper-right time indicator, click on the “pop-out” next to the timer on the left, and move the scroll bar to 1:32:35.
