Since you’re heading to the Netherlands, I thought I’d leave you with a few YouTube bicycling links.
This one goes to and through the town I was born in and remember very well. It’s called Leerdam. The landscapes are in my blood, of course:
It’s a small part of a two and a half hour trip, mainly through small towns and rural landscapes. The quality is adequate for full-screen viewing but there’s no narration, only ambient sound.
But you really should look at rush hour passing one intersection in the city of Utrecht. It’s impressive:
And not a soul is wearing a helmet. All you need is the right infrastructure, and a little instruction in elementary school.
