  1. There’s a little bit of irony linking this post and the following one – judging by the map bed bugs seem to go hand in hand with density!

  2. Logically, the reports of bedbugs shown here relate to the rental housing in the city – it’s the renters who are reporting them. While the rental areas are generally at higher housing densities than the detached and duplex areas of the city, it seems likely that there are plenty of bedbug occurences in those areas that aren’t showing up on this map.
