An update of small urban interventions:
City crews have been busy laying bikeway green, especially on the stretches where cars cross bike routes. This strip on Hornby at Hastings I particularly like: next to the Vancouver Club, our retreat for the elite (one of whom I know actually rides his bike to get there). Sweet.
.
In the 800-block Robson, where VIVA Vancouver has placed dozens of small tables and chairs in the closed off-street, it’s a perfect place for buskers. Like Lemon Legs.
.
These two guys produce the perfect soundtrack for a summer afternoon.

How about some of that green paint across Burrard on the northbound entrance to the bridge bike lane from Cornwall.
That intersection needs more than paint.
