There are 125 rides happening during this year’s festival of bike fun June 3 to 19 – one week longer than last  year and includes Kiddie-palooza at Trout Lake, a Bikesexual Fetish Ride and a  downtown shopping bike tour.

Velopalooza starts June 2 with a ride from David Lam Park to The Waldorf  Hotel for a kick-off party with Run With the Heard, reggae rock band Red Eye  Empire, the Carnival Band and Gastown Sprints competitions.  It ends June 19 with a ride from Main Street Car Free Day to a closing party  at the Waldorf.

More here in the Courier.  Or at the Velopalooza website.

I’ll be leading a ride on June 5:

1:00pm – 4:00pm
