A Carmen recommendation:
“En Route” consists of mixed media oil paintings of Vancouverites in transit, by artist Jessica Gabriel, at the Van East Cultural Centre.
Carrying a pen and notebook everywhere she goes, she continually sketches – in this case, aboard SeaBus.
Exhibition Dates – November 30th 2010 to January 2nd, 2011

Saturday, 12 -4pmJessica Gabriel was born and raised on the Sunshine Coast. She studied painting, photography and theatre at UBC, and in Paris at L’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts. Jessica is also an active puppeteer and clown. Her website is here.
