If there was any doubt (and there really isn’t) that the seawall is our greatest public place, there was another small indicator on the section next to Elsie Roy School on the north shore of False Creek.

Perhaps it was organized, but on Saturday, chalk appeared.  And by the end of the day, there was a carpet of colour, much of it contributed by spontaneous artists.

Who could resist?
