Love them Aussies. They’re spending 63 million (AUS$) for a pedestrian and cycling bridge to connect downtown Brisbane with the Queensland cultural centre.
It’s called the Kurilpa Bridge:

It’s just one of the many passerelles in Brisbane (see them all here in Price Tags 93). This one will create a loop with the Goodwill Bridge between the city core and the Southbank district.
They plan to make the opening of the Kurilpa a major part of the celebrations for Queensland’s 150th birthday. More here.
