Speaking of pedestrian bridges (as we are about those in Melbourne and Brisbane in Price Tags 93), Paris has produced another stunning example – the Passerelle Simone de Beauvoir.

Ah, if Vancouver had more water bodies that weren’t navigable waters…
One possibility for a bike-pedestrian bridge is over the railway tracks in the False Creek Flats for the Central Valley Greenway, instead of the circuitous route around 1st Ave and Great Northern Way.
I remember that from the Central Valley Greenway plan – not sure what happened to it.
