What does it take to start a Vision Zero program and to build a strong Action Plan? Join us in a 1-hour webinar to hear from two communities – Alameda, California and Madison, Wisconsin – who have recently taken on this challenge. Learn how they’re integrating a Safe System approach into their work, how they’re engaging with key stakeholders, and how they’ve built Action Plans meant to be implemented for real change.

Date: Wednesday November 30, 2022

Time: 9:00 am to 10:00 am Pacific Time

You can register for this webinar by clicking this link.

Panelists include:

  • Lisa Foster, Senior Transportation Coordinator, City of Alameda, CA
  • Yang Tao, City Traffic Engineer, City of Madison, WI

This webinar is intended to be especially useful for the fast-growing number of communities interested in adopting a Safe System approach and the goal of Vision Zero – and, for those who may want to revisit their existing Action Plans and priorities to move them toward a Safe System approach. With much-needed, new federal funding dedicated to Vision Zero planning and implementation, this is the time to make sure your foundational work toward safe mobility for all is solid, effective and equitable.
