You can see that they expanded the asphalt to go around the telephone pole, but it’s the middle tree that’s causing the pinch point.
Many sidewalks in Richmond are much worse, especially in subdivisions where many are buried under overgrown shrubbery, used for personal storage or vehicles. Many are complete impassible or have overhead hazards. Some sidewalks end on one side mid-block and resume on the other side with no legal way to cross and no curb ramps and some simply end.
