The folks at Better Environmentally Sound Transportation have being doing programming for green travel longer than most organizations in Vancouver. They have embarked upon a new venture called “Living Streets” encouraging walking throughout Metro Vancouver.

Because their name never anticipated that “Best” would be hard to find once there was the 1990’s universal adoption of the internet, you might want to keep this link handy so you can reference the “Four Seasons Walks” that this organization is presenting.
Each of the three walks are accessible for All Ages and Abilities. None of the routes has a too steep draft. Seniors are being included in these walks, but the walks are intergenerational.
Walks are 45 minutes to 90 minutes and all walks start at 3:00 pm.
The first walk is on Thursday April 7 meeting at David Lam Park outside Yaletown-Roundhouse Skytrain Station.
The second walk is on Thursday April 14 at Queen Elizabeth Park meeting outside Oakridge-41st Skytrain Station.
The third walk is on Thursday April 21 at the Trout Lake precinct, with the meeting point will be outside Nanaimo Skytrain Station.
You can register for these walks and find out more information by clicking this link.
