Free Webinar Tuesday: Heat, Rising Waters, & the Climate Emergency

KPUs Department of Geography and the Environment continues our annual Geo-Forum Series, with a focus in 2022 on last year’s extreme heating, flooding and climate-related events. We have assembled a great panel of five speakers to discuss the climate emergency, including challenges facing the rapidly changing urban-region south of the Fraser River.

Join us TOMORROW  Tuesday, March 15th (from 7-9pm), for an online event featuring a panel of interdisciplinary speakers from academia, local government, environmental advocacy and consulting sectors. The public and media are highly encouraged to join this important discussion about what communities might do in the face of sometimes daunting climate-related risks, increasingly closer to home.
