Everybody’s got a vested interest. You’d prefer to hear what a claims adjustor from Langley thinks? What would be more interesting is a perspective from the City. These three panelists are just going to cry victim.
It’ll be interesting to see which members the co-ops will move to protect. My guess is not optimistic. If the boards are run by long-established resident geezers who haven’t needed subsidized housing since the 90’s, they’ll scream bloody murder at having to suddenly pay social housing market-based rates. They will throw their truly-middle class resident members (who actually do need the subsidy) under the bus to limit their own pain. Any other takers?

This panel would be more interesting to me if it wasn’t composed of only those with vested interests.
