
Urban Logiq presents another webinar on ‘Managing Equitable Economic Recovery” featuring Vancouver’s Duke of Data, Andy Yan.
This 1-hour webinar explores the topic of managing equitable economic recovery from COVID-19 and, in particular, how agencies can approach pandemic recovery as an opportunity to “build back better.” UrbanLogiq will be joined by guest Andy Yan, who will bring his perspective as an accomplished urban planner and Simon Fraser University City Program Director to deep dive into issues and implications around community planning and economic recovery.
Speakers:
Andy Yan, MA, MCIP, RPP, GISP is the director of The City Program at Simon Fraser University and a registered professional urban planner. Prior to his SFU appointment, Andy has extensively worked in the non-profit and private urban planning sectors with projects in various American and Canadian metropolitan regions.
Leah Hanvey is a former Advisor to the Canadian Minister of Small Business and Tourism and Government House Leader. Leah was also a technical analyst in financial modelling for Deloitte, completed an exchange at the University of Zurich in banking and finance, and worked at the Vancouver Economic Commission performing economic research. Leah currently works as UrbanLogiq’s Manager of Business Development.
