There’s a sign on the KATY trail (a rails to bike/ped trail conversion in Missouri) posted by a farmer whose field was bisected by the very popular route: “Your continued forward progress would be appreciated.” I translated for my husband who doesn’t speak Midwesternese. Honey, I said, it means ‘Don’t stop here’.
