Here’s a shot of Metro – the port city – looking southeast from Lions Gate Bridge.

But what is that cluster of highrises in the distance? It’s not Metrotown – that’s just outside the image to the right. Is it Edmonds, along the Expo Line? Possibly Surrey City Centre?
There are now so many high-density station areas, it’s getting hard to tell. We even confuse a second-tier station like Edmonds with our image of what Metrotown used to be not that long ago.

I’m thinking that the cluster of towers is Brentwood Town Centre.

Too far south, I think.
I would say it is Brentwood too.
100% that’s Brentwood. You can see the new construction at Brentwood mall and the Solo District buildings across the street.

I concede. Brentwood it is.
Every time I drive along Highway 1 I look over to Brentwood and am pretty amazed at it’s growth
I was out at Brentwood yesterday getting pictures for my blog
Here’s one I posted on flickr

Stephen, another perspective on how tall these buildings are. I took this picture flying out on a foggy day last December. After reviewing the photo I noticed these two popping up through the dense fog. Capital Hill is the “island” just to the north.
