Community Skate Spot, Pender & McLean
While out doing something else, I rode by this place. It’s in a Vancouver alleyway south of Red Dragon Apparel at E. Pender and McLean Drive. It refers to itself as a Community Skate Spot, a.k.a. “The RDS Barriers”.
It’s a clever and community-minded combination of public space creation (what was once exclusively a parking lot) and business promotion.
