This webinar will acknowledge and celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day on Thursday, June 21st, by addressing the role planning professions have in supporting reconciliation during the public consultation process, and how they can develop culturally aware land use planning that establishes and maintains mutually respectful relationships.

Case studies of planning processes engaging Indigenous communities in different areas of the Province will be presented – preconceptions, expectations, what worked, what didn’t, challenges, successes, and lessons learned.
